We recognise that personnel will grow and whilst some may take up management positions internally, we also acknowledge the importance of developing skills and experience that will be taken forward into the industry as employees move on.
The company has a defined “HR, Training and Competence Process” policy that identifies the training needs of the company and for the CPD (Continuous Professional Development) of individuals.
- Funding is set-aside in the financial budget to cover planned training expenditure
- Ongoing evaluation and review of training requirement is conducted as part of annual staff appraisals
- Future leaders and managers are identified and tailored development plans established
- Employee skill’s/training data is held within the company HR system for traceability and skill/activity matching
