New Managing Director at Kenard Tewkesbury
From the 9th July this year, David Banham joined the Tewkesbury team as Managing Director, bringing with him a wealth of experience in CNC machining and production techniques spanning more than 30 years.
Just two years after completing his five year apprenticeship with a CNC router manufacturer, David was promoted to area sales manager, enabling him to work in his preferred customer facing role. After ten years honing his customer service skills, in 1997, David joined Fred K Pollard & Co Ltd as Technical Director.
David has always been interested in motor sport and aviation. He still holds a European drivers license and also a Private Pilot’s license. He put this experience and passion to good use working in technical partnership with a prime UK based engine manufacturer. During this time he successfully sold and installed more than forty machines, many with the capability to run unmanned and lights out.
Since then David has been managing director of Mori Seiki (UK) Ltd and in 2007 established a consultancy business specialising in manufacturing process best practice advice.
Since David joined Kenard in July, the Tewkesbury site has seen some significant improvements, with the team’s efforts really delivering positive results. 2015 is going to be an exciting time for Kenard Tewkesbury.
