Matt’s strengths also reside in his ability nurture talent within the team and inform the strategic development of the business, which has led to strong sustained growth and driven a number of improvement initiatives at the Dartford facility. This proven success has made him a natural choice for appointment as managing director.
Planning for the next 50 years
As Kenard enters its fiftieth year, owner and Kenard Group Managing Director Keith Ellis reflects, “I’m delighted to announce that Matt has been promoted to this key position at Dartford as he has established an exemplary track record of leadership, performance and delivery during his time with the company. I believe the longevity and success of Kenard can be attributed, in part, to our ability to evolve and our desire to continuously improve. Matt’s promotion comes at a time when the Group is undergoing wider changes that are intended to build upon our achievements and secure the company’s long term future; ensuring that we are well placed to remain competitive in a rapidly changing industry. This in turn means we can then give the very best to our customers.”
